BlizzCon 2008 Eye Candy

Everyone who attempted to purchase tickets to BlizzCon this year knows exactly what a nightmare that was, so I am extremely grateful for getting the chance to attend the event. The additional hall made all the difference. Unlike last year when RTS tournaments were held at the same stage as those of WoW, this year they were each given their own halls and stages, making for more viewable tournaments on stage for the fans and pro-players. The production was noticeably much smoother this year, as the event was broadcasted by DirectTV.

My fianceé and I hung out mainly at the RTS stage area to watch all the WarCraft and StarCraft competitions, so this is where the bulk of the images come from. Sorry, no WoW pics this year.

People were able to play 1v1 this year for StarCraft. Oh it is beautiful. Artists and developers meetings and signings. Retro Arcade - vault of ancient Blizzard video games. Blizzard Art Gallery. Huge Sarah Kerrigan statue. Lucifron took second place, and has a new fan ^_^
